Debenhams Home AW17

RJR.John Rocha’s AW17 collection embraces mixed materials
and artisan craftsmanship, reflecting the transition into the
season through print and palette. Inspiration from the autumnal
landscape emerges through the finer details with beautiful
bold bloom printed bed linen and botanical appliqué cushions.
Intricate perforated metal accessories sit alongside ombré effect
glass and metallic glazed ceramics, whilst earthenware vases
emphasise the natural, organic undertone of the collection.
Taking influence from the decadence of 1930’s Hollywood
Regency, Star by Julien Macdonald offers a glamorous statement
for AW17. The collection embraces a delicate, feminine colour
palette of blush pink and lilac hues, with intricate ruffles, hints of
velvet and sumptuous faux fur bringing a luxurious touch. Subtle
shimmering metallic, etched feather engravings and iridescent
glass accessories echo the dreamy opulence of this golden age.
The J by Jasper Conran collection combines contemporary
design with statement colour for the ultimate in understated
modern luxury. AW17 sees the introduction of a new range of
upholstered furniture in boldly coloured velvet, complemented
by refined metal and marble side tables. Textiles focus on velvet
and textural linear embroidery in a rich spectrum of merlot,
navy and darkest green. Soft brushed gold accents marble
in lighting and layers into a curated collection of glass and
ceramic accessories.
Make a bold statement with Butterfly Home by Matthew
Williamson, an eclectic collection that combines contrasting
prints and texture, underpinned by dramatic jewel tones for a
modern bohemian look. Mandala and ethnic inspired patterns
and an enchanting wild monkey design are key, beautifully
illustrated on textiles and decorative accessories. Embroidered
embellishment, tassel trims and pompoms enhance the overall
nomadic look and feel.
Ben de Lisi’s AW17 collection fuses his signature fun and
confident design approach with on trend Scandinavian inspired
elements for a fresh take on a classic look. The collection
embraces a monochromatic colour palette, interspersed with
accents of bold primary colour in the form of abstract painterly
brush stroke and splatter prints. Curved lines and geometric
shapes sit alongside free spirited birds personified through
illustration and appliqué.
Abigail Ahern/Edition has turned her uniquely creative design
hand to a new range of dramatic pendant lighting for AW17.
Drawing on her inspiration from around the world, the new range
of statement chandeliers feature tarnished threaded beads with
carved wooden droplets and natural woven thread detailing.
This season’s star characters are the koala and parrot set against
a backdrop of bold, colourful textures, whilst Abigail’s new faux
botanical collection and burnished metallic accessories conjure
up an exotic urban jungle feel with a hint of luxe.
The style influence of Debenhams AW17 collection is rooted in
Danish design. Warm and cosy in essence, the collection gives a
nod to the ‘Hygge’ trend, with chunky knits, woven textures and
faux mohair in an autumnal colour palette offering the ultimate
in luxurious comfort. This comprehensive collection offers
seasonal updates for every room in the home. Dinnerware and
serveware give an artisan feel to dining with printed crockery and
kitchen textiles in burnt orange, shadowy grey hues and muted
neutral tones, easily layered with rustic kitchen accessories. The
colour palette continues into the bathroom with subtly textured
textiles and woven accessories.
