Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi met when they were both eighteen and living on
the Isle of Man.
Discovering a mutual appreciation for fashion, together they formed Preen, a brand
that is today best known for its minimal designs that merge both a masculine and
Launched in 1996, Justin and Thea - who are now husband and wife - began selling
clothes that were inspired by Victoriana and punk rock. By 1997, a Preen shop
opened on London's iconic Portobello Road.
Famed for its strong silhouettes with an effortless edge, smart modern mood and
slouchy-futuristic elegance, Preen cemented its international status by opting to
show in New York in 2007, returning to its London roots in 2012.
